Lewis B. Gidley
Au.D., Doctor of Audiology



Dr. Gidley was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina. He attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC to obtain his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. He earned his Master of Science in Audiology from East Carolina University as well. He attended the University of Florida and received his Doctorate in Audiology. Dr. Gidley has more than 25 Years of experience in the audiology field, before opening his private practice here in the 'Heart of the Carolinas'.

For the past ten years, Dr. Gidley has served as an Adjunct Professor for East Carolina University and for the past two years, his office has served as an intern site for Graduate Audiology students from East Carolina University. Dr. Gidley holds an Audiology License in both North Carolina and Virginia, and a Hearing Aid Dealers License in North Carolina. He is also certified in Hearing Aid repair. Other certifications include; Hearing Aid Fabrication/ITE Module Assembly (Audina), ADA Cerumen Management Training Seminar, and a Certificate of Competence/Audiology (CCC-A). Dr. Gidley is also past president of, and holds memberships with the North Carolina Academy of Hearing Rehabilitation (NCAHR), the American Auditory Society (AAS), the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).

Marla Harris
H.I.S., Hearing Instument Specialist




Marla is a Eastern North Carolina native and has worked in the hearing care industry for 15 years. She is licensed as a Hearing Aid Dealer in North Carolina. She works primarily in our Washington, NC office. She is good at all facets of hearing aids and shows care in her hearing aid delivery. She is very down to earth and will bend over backwards in order to satisfy her patients. She loves helping other to hear better.

Amber Strickland




Amber is our Business Manager. She has been with our practice since relocating to make Greenville her home. Her mother ran a hearing aid practice and Amber "grew up" in the business. This introduction has served her well as she has a stong desire to help patients with hearing loss.

Amber handles the billing, insurance and book keeping for both the Greenville and Washington offices. She takes pride in keeping our offices running as efficiently as possible. She always greets our patients warmly and is very helpful to them. If you ever need anything special or have any questions, Amber has the knowledge and desire to answer them. Feel free to call her and prepare to be impressed.

Members of our professional staff have met state and national requirements and attained the highest level of preparation for hearing health care service delivery. Our patients can be confident that our professionals are qualified to administer comprehensive hearing health care services.
